Autoselecting of empty folders after copying them

I have a Test folder on my Desktop, with 2 files and 2 folders inside. When I use custom copy for file - all works fine. The file is copied and the copy is automatically selected. But when I try to copy a folder - it works differently. The copy is not selected. Here is how it looks:

I also tried alternative solution, suggested by another guy: use Edit > Paste Special > Paste Here As. But the problem is the same.

I also need to say that I tried it several times. And one time it worked as expected. So, probably it is a bug?

Are there some ways to workaround it?

Later update: Yes, it is a bug. Empty folders stay unselected after copying. See the thread for details. Initially it was a part of another thread.

Sure, by scripting it. But you would need to use a different shortcut for pasting then (Ctrl + v is obviously not available...)

@highend Try to copy EMPTY folder.

In a longer words:

As I discovered few minutes ago, this bug affects only empty folders. Non-empty folders are copied properly (the copy is automatically selected after copying).
