I've just discovered that some programs still work while others don't.
Opening a folder through Defraggler (a free disk defragmenter) works fine: go to the file list, right click on a file, "Open Containing Folder", and XYplorer shows the appropriate folder.
Opera and Firefox, on the other hand, no longer work, as reported previously. Go to Downloads, right click on a file or click on its folder, and XYplorer is brought to the front but no tab opens.
Some change in how XYplorer interprets the way it's invoked, perhaps? It looks like there are at least two ways to "call" XYplorer from an external program.
