XYplorer "Not Responding" notice

Post by barnowl »

Hi
I am using the latest version of XYplorer. I am finding that this program goes to "Not Responding" message for an unknown reason.
The screen goes white, with the page details just showing through the white.
It then remains in that state until I restart the Windows 7 OS. I can not cancel it or stop it running using Task Manager or other such software, like Process Explorer.
This is not a problem with the latest version as this has happen many times before, with previous build numbers.
Can anyone suggest anything that will correct this problem.

Very unusual. Never heard of this. Currently no idea what to do about it.

Just the usual question for the usual culprit: Are you using Adobe Acrobat for previewing PDFs?

Oh well. Let me know if you see any pattern.

This happens to me too - very frequently. I have version 17.90.0100 and was going to update because I thought this was a symptom of my version being out of date.

I've also noted slow start up times.

No pattern to it, just every time I try to use the program.

Chris.

You can use this command to diagnose slow load times, enter it in the address bar:

Code: Select all

text get("LoadTimes");
Post the results if you need help, probably in a thread like this:
