Confirmation dialog boxes hidden under other windows

I am using version 17.60.0100 so I don't know if this is resolved already.

When doing moves/copies/deletes that are large enough to take some time I will work on other things while I wait. Numerous times I find that a dialog box has opened to confirm something or other while the task waits. The problem is that I have no idea that this has happened. The dialog box is under some other window and there is no clue in the task bar either.

Much later when I move or close some window I find that the task had stopped long long ago while waiting for my input. Surely there is a way to make these notifications pop over, rather than under, existing windows.

Yes, this is a known issue with Windows for a long time. XY does everything it can to keep the box on top, but under certain conditions (e.g. if the CTRL is held down) Windows decides otherwise and pushes it down.
