Sigh, well thanks for checking. So it looks like the "Redirect typing to Live Filter Box" feature does not work for non-Latin scripts.

I'm not an expert in that domain but my observation is that when in Greek, input is registered as a kind of extended charset. Some letters will output their latin equivalent (for example τ outputs t), others will output a question mark (often a sign of encoding issues) while others will output something which relates to the letter but is a special character (for example the beta character β outputs ß).

I doubt this helps but it surely doesn't hurt to have more info.

Yes, and the edit box has built in skills to handle this stuff. It might work if I emulate a key stroke in the edit box. I'll try that later...
