Compatibility problem when open containing folder in Visual Studio 2015

Post by wavejumes »

Hello.
I got a problem when I right click the file tab then select "Open Containg Folder",
then XYplorer open the containg folder, but after about 5 seconds, the visual studio will popup a dialog as below.

Weird. Looks like VS is expecting something in return but does not get it. :?

Heh. That's a blast from the past. Good thing I just happened to be popping by - that was one of the first things I posted about, and I came up with a workaround (add xyplorer to VS as an "external tool", then add that "external tool" to that context menu with the label "Open Containing Folder", and remove the actual "Open Containing Folder". It is pretty nice that VS allows for almost unlimited customization of menus, though the specific menu you want is often difficult to locate. I don't remember what it was called - I remember having to go fish around for it. But that does work - I've been using that workaround for years.)
