Right Click Program Stuck

Win7 64-bit, XY 17.60.0112

I use PicaView to view/convert images from right click context menu. This worked fine in 17.60.0100. In 17.60.0112, PicaView does not convert the file and is stuck on the taskbar. When I close XY, the PicaView entries remain on the taskbar. The images below show what happens when attempting to convert a png file to a jpg file (again, this worked fine in 0100):

Right click on image file:

Click on image name, then click on convert:

How can XY be responsible if PicaView does not work? I don't get it.

Well, because this has always worked and works in 17.60.0100. Not in .0112. Something has changed that keeps the program stuck when OK is clicked instead of executing. It is like the OK button is ignored. Sadly, I have not kept any of the point releases between .0100 and .0112 to determine when the change occurs.

P.S. If I close XY, the PicaView button is still on the taskbar. I can click it active, then click OK and the file is converted and PicaView closes.

Same issue with 17.70 and now this appears when I close XY after trying to convert file:

Don, never mind with this problem. I am going to delete PicaView and use the XnView shell extension. There must be something in PicaView which does not stand the test of progress.

Same problem. OK, this might be more information.

- I right click image and select convert.
- PicaView dialogue box appears as expected.
- I click OK and the dialogue box disappears but there is a button on the taskbar for PicaView.
- I minimize XY and the dialogue box was hiding behind the XY window.
- I click OK in dialogue box and the image is converted and the dialogue box is closed as expected.
- I can restore XY window.
- As long as XY window has focus, the PicaView dialogue box OK click sends it behind XY window.
