Version 17.50.0104 Startup Folder?

Startup folder becomes "StartPath=C:\Users\<myusername>\Desktop\a\b\c.txt\" and XYplorer complains this file does not exist at startup. Options show my usual startup folder but XYplorer does not use it. Help?
