With my Android (4.4.4) phone connected XYPlorer displays it a G620s-L01.
I was trying to locate a file within the phone with Name set to '2016_10_1*.mp3' and XYPlorer crashed.
I then conducted tht following steps:
I located the file '2016_10_13_14_43_08.mp3' using the Folders tree and found it at (CTRL+P) : 'G620S-L01\Mémoire de stockage interne\Recorders\2016_10_13_14_43_08.mp3'
I then tried to locate that file using 'Find Files': XYPlorer crashed with Location set to 'G620S-L01' and Name set to '2016_10_13_14_43_08.mp3'
When Location was set to 'G620S-L01\Mémoire de stockage interne' or to 'G620S-L01\Mémoire de stockage interne\Recorders', XYPlorer did not crash, but it did not find that file.

Cannot confirm. All working fine here.
But inspired by your post I improved the portable device search experience somewhat. Check out next beta. I might even have succeeded in air fixing your issue.
And, wow, tada: 40,000 posts here!
