Hello,
I open XY to a folder full of .jpg files. I highlight a file in the stash and then press CTRL-F11 to hopefully open the vertical preview and I get:
"This file type cannot be opened in your default browser"
If I open the pane manually via the Window Menu - it appears and I can highlight through the images and they appear in the pane normally.
Sup?

And Tools - Customize Keyboard Shortcuts...
shows that
#674 is really assigned to Ctrl + F11?

I just read about it on the website:highend wrote:And Tools - Customize Keyboard Shortcuts...shows that #674 is really assigned to Ctrl + F11?
"Easily the most wished XYplorer enhancement of recent years. Now it’s here. Show the Preview Pane via menu Window | Show Preview Pane (Ctrl+F11), or us the "Preview Pane" toolbar button."
Nothing in the above indicates that I have to "assign" it? Or did I read something wrong?
When I read about a new feature (complete with instructions on how to access it) - I usually assume it's ready to go - and would just work simply by installing the 16.40 application?

For new installations -> Yes
Upgraded ones -> At least not in all cases (Ctrl + F11 was assigned before to a different entry and while this assignment was removed it wasn't given to the Preview Pane entry (at least in my installation))

Interesting. Here CTRL-F11 is not assigned to anything. Good to know!highend wrote:For new installations -> Yes
