Are you saying that the file "ContextMenu64.exe" doesn't come from XYplorer?

Does anybody know why Windows Explorer is always working but the alternative Explorers are having problems with shell extensions?

I just installed the latest version, and I'm still experience a similar problem to what was initially reported here.

So far it seems to go like this.

Open XYplorer ->
The first thing I do is hover over a drive, or select the drive with left click
right-click on drive in tree for context menu
program hardlocks, windows prompts to end process


Open XYplorer ->
Hover over a directory in the tree (or file list pane) instead of the drive.
program seems to function normally on right-click
can now safely right-click on drives
