I tried to use XYplorer to access files on Samsung Note 4 android phone connected through USB cable.
Phone is shown in tree view and it is visible that it has internal memory and SD card inside. It even detects capacity and free space on both memory cards correctly. But somehow files are not visible on both memory cards.
I tried using MTP and PTP protocols and results are the same.
Can you tell me if accessing files through MTP protocol is even supported in XYplorer. Could it be that it has problems only with certain models of android devices like Samsung Note. Is it something that can be resolved through settings.
I'm using trial version of XYplorer at the moment, is it maybe a feature that works only in full version.
I'm considering purchasing the software but this is really deal breaker for me.
I have attached screenshots of how my device is shown in tree view and main panel.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Re: Problem connecting to android phone
Hi,
I assume you are using the Win 10 Creators Update? There is a known issue with that update and XYplorer concerning the listing of portable devices. It's on my list.
