Correct. No flyout-submenus. Exactly my reason for combining QSel with PopSel. No time right now to explain it all - it boils down to having distinct colors and sizes and pop-positions per category in Qsel, but calling these sub-pages from PopSel (instead of triggering nested submenus)

and thanks for the tip with multiple selection in qsel, i did not know that, i usually use a text editor to move them. i wish popsel will have the same feature also, its a pain to move something in a folder using a text editor in popsel.

You're welcome. Yes, it were nice to move multi-entries inside popsel also. You can mail the author, he is usually quite responsive. If I remember correctly, the reason for the different handling has to do with the way submenus are structured: contained in one .lst file (popsel) vs multiple .qsl files for each category (qsel). You'd have to open several files in an editor to move QSel entries across categories.

Another advantage of QSel: the visual orientation when you use different colors, sizes and popup-positions for your subs, and no need to hover over flyouts submenus like in popsel.

I have LaunchBarCommander, but XY's favorite file+folders and catalog are gradually devouring it's usage.

Could I suggest my own modification of FolderMenu?

Have been using PStart under XP surely for more than 7 years, under Win 7 32 bit for at least two years, under Win 7 64bit for several months and never have experienced anything like that. Have not tried it under Win 8, or 10.
