I saw today that one of the new features of the new incarnation of OSX are the tags in Finder.

What are you guys talking about? Apple actually innovated and invented the tags and labels system way back in 1977. They were just prototypes and never released to the public until now but it's an Apple invention! Remember, Apple have always been innovating (and litigating)! That's why labels and tags are so popular these days. Plus Web 2.0 actually stole the idea of the tag cloud from Apple!
