Hm, weird. I did not change code relating to this since long.
So, in which previous version did it still work?

Re: Strange Tree Scrolling in 7.60.0047
Ah, interesting. I added some painting optimization recently, and it works alright here. apparently not everywhere. I will turn it back to the previous way...
Are you sure the tree is the only control where you experience this delay in painting when scrolling by wheel?

Re: Double Click address bar text
3. later (you can add Current AB Text from catalog ctx menu) I just want to add to this request as it would be nice if we could also do the following: Drag the address bar to a background tab to inject the location. Drag a tab to the Catalog to create a new item. Drag the address bar or tabs to ext...

Re: Close [x] icon on each tab
It's also comfortable to close the tab with 2 clicks or CTRL+click (like in firefox and/or Opera). I would like this option. And by the way - when you try to start Opera (doubleclicking Opera shortcut) when it is already opened then the new empty tab appears in opera. In XYplorer it'll be comfortab...

Re: Resort list immediately upon rename
Then we have a problem because it means that you're discriminating against the kind of rename is carried out without clearly stating so. So the documentation needs updated but quite frankly exiting rename mode via tab, mouse, or enter are different things entirely. 1) Exiting via Enter shows a comp...

Re: Resort list immediately upon rename
Tomorrow's history: ! With "Resort list immediately after rename" active, the list should NOT be immediately resorted when the rename was done using TAB (serial rename) or by clicking outside the rename box (immediate resort is perceived as disturbing). This worked so far, but the list wa...

Re: Resort list immediately upon rename
Ah! You currently have to <enter> for this functionality to work. I'm not even sure if I should fix this. It's a handy option to have the file either jump or stay. Yes, I believe you should fix it. The logic would speak that, if aforementioned tickbox is ticked, any operation, be it a click of a mo...

Re: Resort list immediately upon rename
Yep, I can reproduce that. 1) Enter rename mode. 2) Change file name. 3) Exit rename mode by clicking on another file. Oddly, it seems you can repeat these steps multiple times without it re-sorting. However, if you remove step 2, so that you enter rename mode and exit without making a change, it w...

Re: Resort list immediately upon rename
Cannot reproduce here. To test that I created a new folder and created some 10 new text files. I went to the last text file and renamed it to "01" and it automatically jumps to first position after i hit enter. So all fine here with v0046. Sorry, I had to delete my previous reply because,...

Re: Resort list immediately upon rename
Just asking. Here it does work for any kind of rename. The way I test is I have several packs of RAR files each of which has one file stored inside. I extract from one pack, rename the file and only when I start extracting from the next pack, which means a new file appears, the freshly-renamed one ...

P.S. Should work for any kind of rename, be it manual, via a script or otherwise.

Re: Resort list immediately upon rename
Works alright here. Take care that sort order is by Name or Ext or Type, else no effect can be expected. My files do get sorted by name so that's why I expected an effect, but none happened unless I have refresh switched on or manually initiated activity. How do you rename? This works only for manu...
