Remedy: - Turn ON "Refresh during file operations" (context menu of Auto- Refresh TB button), else you have to refresh manually after a file operation. You're right: I didn't read too carefully and thought enabling Auto-Refresh via View > Auto-Refresh would be sufficient. My bad.

With 8.90.0003 beta with Auto-Refresh turned on and with Suspend Auto-Refresh turned off, copying a file turns on Suspend Auto-Refresh.
