Re: Looking for those custom toolbar icons that someone crea

Got your message J.C. Hadn't been to the forum in a while. Mediafire changed their policy. Updated link: http://www.mediafire.com/?vx9h2myc1avz2a2 Yes, the review section is the wrong place for that thread. The non-review stuff should really be bumped elsewhere. Anyway if I post any updates I'll add...

Re: Themes

Hi chavlji, I got the same result initially as you. Custom folder icons showed up in Windows Explorer (and a couple of other file managers) but not in XYplorer. However, there is more than one place in the registry where the folder icon is assigned. Try FileTypesMan (see above) and look for "Di...

Yeah, I should have attached the ironic emoticon as a safety belt. (It's carnival...)
Well enjoy the carnival. :D Kölle Alaaf!

Re: 64bit version?

Can't give a date but I'm ready to go at any moment. It's the compiler writers that slow it down. Generally, to everybody on 64bit Windows: When you decided to go for 64bit you decided to leave the 32bit world. I'm sure you had good reasons to do so (and did not just believe the hype), but n...

Re: Icon Overlays and TortoiseSVN 1.5

Why limit it to Tortoise SVN? TheQwerty wrote: honestly I'm not sure it would be useful to enough people to justify. A special list column to display visual tags (or flags), for regular users not just programmers, would be great. It wouldn't suffer from the size and readability problem of overlays (...

Re: Themes

Excellent links! I found a another way to customize: http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/icons/os/win/?qh=&section=&q=patcher I'm currently using Tango Patcher and XYplorer looks pretty good. :D Yeah, I quite like the Tango icons as well. But we should point out for some readers of t...

Re: Once again... lazy sort :-)

Have you done any tweaks to the ini file? Specifically: PasteToSelectedFolder=0 0 is the default. Hadn't seen that error message "Paste into file is currently not supported" before. "Currently" suggests that this (appending clipboard content into a file) might be another cool fea...

Re: Once again... lazy sort :-)

Lazy sorting is a natural consequence of Persistent Manual Sort. (PMS has been discussed on different threads gteknoz and may be implemented in the future, I'm really pointing this out to Don.) Using Faststone's "custom sort" as an example: when you manually move (the position of) any item...

Re: Multilingual Support

why not create a scripted translation on demand thru all the free online translation that exist (google translation) I think relying on machine translation would be a disaster for such a technical subject. There are lengthy threads on this forum going back and forth over the exact wording to use fo...

Re: New destination for"Move/Copy/Backup to"

This has been wished quite a few times over many years, but my answer is always this same. I want to keep the "Move/Copy/Backup to" dialog simple. Same with the menus. It's already so cluttered that I'm tempted to remove this stuff rather than add new things. I actually find the current m...

Re: Themes

The main reason I liked Icon Phile was the ability to save and restore sets of icons in one go (like IconPackager -not free) but I haven't done that since using XP. But I now get the following error message when launching the app on Win7 64bit: " is not a valid integer value After dismissing it...

Re: 3 Wishes Please

Switching extensions off in the Name column but then placing the Ext column immediately to the left (i.e. next to the icons) works for me.
