Re: Beta 8.80.0030 High CPU Usage

1) Could it be that those on Win7 without a problem are use Flat plus-minus icons in Configuration / Interface Colors?
I don't have a CPU problem with XY and "Flat plus-minus icons" is not checked

I have this for GDIPLUS. ver 6.1.7600.16385

Re: Beta 8.80.0030 High CPU Usage

For what its worth - I just upgraded to the latest beta and running with no problems.

I do run XY with a locked tree, though.

Re: Undo/Redo

You are saying "OK" or dismissing the dialog - NOT that it couldn't complete your request and its flippin you off! Now maybe there is a bug in there somewhere (prior to the dialog) I don't know - but don't take your anger out on the perfectly understandable (by a reasonable person) dialog....

Re: XYplorer to survive restart of explorer.exe

I think you can just go into process explorer and kill explorer.exe and then again using process explorer go to the file menu and then run explorer.exe.

Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here

In searching today for some other stuff on the forums I noticed that there was/is a "heated" debate on dual pane. So just to confirm (from my perspective) that Don did the right thing in adding DP - I NEVER would have purchased XY if NOT for DP. As a matter of fact over the years I would i...

Re: how to get path for two panes using predefined parameters?

@Don - thanks for the new var. But I'm feeling pretty stupid. I have this in a user button. "<xypath>\..\WinMerge\WinMerge.exe" <get path> <get path i> and I'm getting the following error. '<get' is not a valid script command. <get 1 What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Re: how to get path for two panes using predefined parameters?

@Stefan and TheQwerty - Thanks.

Stefan, your script works great. I guess I don't need an inactive pane path var after all. :)

Re: how to get path for two panes using predefined parameters?

Sorry to bring up an "old" thread.

But I was trying to create a UDC for WinMerge with the active and inactive pane paths. After searching I found this thread that the inactive pane path var does not exist.

Count this as my vote for an inactive pane path var. :)

No need I found it after going through all my configs. Lock the tree - bingo everytime.

Re: Connecting to mapped network drive after Windows has booted

It is something with my xy config. I installed a brand spanking new version in my virtual machine and I can't reproduce. I am slowly starting to introduce my config settings to try and reproduce it.

Re: Connecting to mapped network drive after Windows has booted

Ok forget the w7 thing - I just copied my whole XY dir over to my WinXP virtual machine and I get the SAME results. Something in my XY config perhaps. Will keep testing.

Re: Connecting to mapped network drive after Windows has booted

It must have something to do with w7. I can reproduce this everytime without fail. Is there any other w7 users that can test this.
