Re: Don't Delete Specific Files
After some testing, the winner is highend's solution. Thanks highend for showing me the XY way. Of course you use what fits better for you. Highend's solution is simpler to set up. Mine has an advantage though: if you have to switch it off temporarily, you simply cannot forget to switch it on again...

Re: Don't Delete Specific Files
I can imagine a different solution. Create a visual filter which excludes those 2 files from the list, for example this way "Hide permanent files" !("File1.exe" | "File2.exe") then save a Folder view with this visual filter. When you enter this folder, those 2 files wil...

Case insensitive comparison operators
It would be better for remembering, if the comparison operators (Like, InLike, LikeI, UnLikeI) were case insensitive similarly to the boolean operators. (Actually I cannot see the logic also in the variable case sensitivity and function name case insensivity :? Actually, these kind of small inconsis...

Re: Assign Built-In Function ID Return Value to Variable?
Is there a way to capture the return value of a built-in function id and assign to a variable? i.e., Function ID = #101 Thanks! That has no return value as it is a function for copying something to the clipboard. But the command is "item path/name to clipboard", capturing the name with pa...

Re: Latitude and Longitude
You wrote in the change log that the format was like "521623793/11930464 0/1 0/1". I get it rather like this: "47/1 31/1 79139/10000, 21/1 36/1 169200/10000" format called rational64u[3]. Anyway, I clicked on the Refresh column of my custom column many many times, I haven't got w...

Re: Latitude and Longitude
It looks as something related to the length of data given back. Because there are more GPS IDs like from 0x0001 to 0x0007 and only the longest ones have this problem

Re: Latitude and Longitude
Indeed! The raw data is ok. XY gives it back in a wrong way like in every third try. It is ok in every other software. And also XY can get the correct data. But not always.

Re: Latitude and Longitude
I can confirm, that what highend reported happens really frequently. There is no need a special picture, just locate a jpg which contains GPS info then run the command echo get("exif", 0x0002); repeatedly and you will see. Unfortunately it happens much more than 30% which makes the GPS han...

Re: New Logo/Icon
I read a negative comment about the new Logo. The person "might" stop using XYplorer? really? I can't imagine my life without XYplorer. I love all the big and small updates. The amount of improvements done to XYplorer at all levels is incredible. I'm working with PCs for 35 years and XYpl...
