If you edited the tag.dat file while XYplorer is open, make sure you go to Favorites > Reload Tags Database in the menus. XYplorer does not know you have edited the file and therefore you will need to have XYplorer reload the database.

Not completely sure if this is a bug or not but under the User-Defined Commands > Open With, shouldn't this resolve the .lnk files first before actually opening it up with the desired program? Basically C:\Notes.txt: 1. Open E:\Users\AstroBoy\Desktop\Notes.txt.lnk > lnk is processed and notepad.exe ...
