Or in the case of tabs: create yourself some tabsets with the ones you always want and reload them once it gets too messy.

As your folder seems to contain mostly .exe and .zip files, the most likely culprit would be AV scanning.
Try to exclude XY from your virus scanner and see if it makes a difference.

The blue colour you are describing is showing the focused item thus needs to move to the list if you select a folder there.

Using a foreach loop does the operations in the loop for one item at a time otherwise you need to look into selectitems and then work with the whole selection in one operation.

XY Appdata folder with 36GB :shock: , you must have a lot of cached thumbs or something like that. My whole XY folder including data is just 15MB in size. As your W10 computer will have a different folder/file structure (I assume), these cached thumbs will make no sense to copy from one computer to ...

I think one warning should be given with this approach.
Whatever changes one makes while working with multiple instances might get lost if one is not careful about saving changes or if automatic save on exit is switched on, which of the instances is closed last.
