I don't think that's possible. It's firefox's decision to drop the link and not the image.nony wrote:So Don could you provide a tweak/fix to save hyperlinked images without downloading.

Re: Tree not Auto-Refreshing when creating folder in inactive ta
Bump me next year please.nas8e9 wrote:Personally, I'd be happy for it to be a tweak to automatically trigger the F4 (Refresh Tree) (rather than Ctrl+Shift+F4 (Rebuild Entire Tree)) functionality. It would have the same performance as a manual Refresh Tree.

Re: Auto-refresh and Auto-rebuild of Tree
With regards to the auto-refreshing of icon overlays, this still isn't working. I've tested by opening a text file, that Dropbox is configured to sync, and made some changes. In XYplorer I see the overlay changing to the blue one which indicates that the file now needs to be uploaded to the cloud. ...

Re: Auto-refresh and Auto-rebuild of Tree
Any feedback on this? (USB drives, and icon overlays) So far so good on the tree auto-refreshing. Although the problem wasn't easy to reproduce at will, so I'll continue to keep an eye on this to see whether the problem has truly gone away. With regards to not all icon overlays being recognized, I ...

Re: Tree not Auto-Refreshing when creating folder in inactive ta
Just to be clear: the main issue to me, is one of inconsistency between the Tree and the List: the List does show the new folders while the Tree doesn't. I wonder whether a workaround would be to refresh the Tree when activating a different tab? I just saw that I experimentally implemented this on ...

Re: Auto-refresh and Auto-rebuild of Tree
I still encounter this semi-regularly. Just yesterday I plugged in, and then later removed, an external hard drive. On both occassions I had to force rebuild the tree in order for it to recognize that the drive was there and then gone. This is with v8.70.0100 on Windows 7 x64. Oh well. Hopefully in...

Re: Opening with shell uses <xypath> as working dir.
From my tests the only methods that correctly open files in <curpath> (D:\Downloads in the image below) within XY are OpenWith() and Run(), and this is likely broken for every interpreted programming language: 20091221-075309 - Screenshot.png I'm sorry Don, but a global tweak is just not going to b...

Re: Tough words about GUI
Today, I came across an article about changes to Firefox's GUI. Several matters that it covers are also relevant to XYplorer. Here's a link: http://blog.stephenhorlander.com/2009/12/21/windows-themeui-update/ An interesting read indeed  Thanks for the link. I'm absolutely pro GUI improvements...

Re: Not such a good app for Win 7 tablet
XYplorer has adjustable font sizes. (Configuration / Fonts)
Concerning huge icons (> 32x32 pixel) -- that's on my list.
Menu font and icon size is a system function (Control Panel / Display Settings...).

Re: Opening with shell uses <xypath> as working dir.
Because it did not work as expected with many file types. There were at least two threads about this quite recently. (No time now to find them)TheQwerty wrote:Is there a reason you don't or can't just use ShellExecute?
Anyway, I added a non-documented tweak to the [General] section:

Re: Undo/Redo
Quick things: - Delete (Recycle bin) a file, undo, redo. Now in the AL under "previous names in RB" there are two items: what used to be there before the undo (the path inside RB, which is right), and the exact same path as above ("deleted items"). This doesn't seem to make much...

Re: Make minitree available in context menu
 Ah yes, sure! Which reminds me that the placing of Tags&Comments inside Favorites menu was not the wisest thing... Maybe later (VFO...) I'll add a new top menu for them. BTW, I also have plans for a third category of tagging: keywords , which will also be stored in tag.dat, and allow eas...

Re: Make minitree available in context menu
Especially tags and comments meant for the list appear in tree. It seems unlikely that someone will select an item in the list and right-click on the tree to set tags and comments. :? I don't get that part. What tags and comments appear where? Probably that serendipity has the tweak to show the ful...
