Re: Drag stops working
When this happens can Manual Sort with the mouse? Not sure, I'll have to try it the next time this happens -- do you mean by clicking on a column header to sort? Also, there could be something to the reply mentioning network shares. I use XYPlorer on a local machine and another PC that I connect to...

Re: Drag stops working
Several times now, I have experienced left mouse button drag stops working, and end up having to restart XYPlorer. I am still on 17.40.02 but will update to the latest to see if it helps.

Re: Type ahead find wildcards
The LFB encomasses many more keystrokes for consecutive searches When quickly looking for matches, type-ahead is lightning efficient because you dont have to focus the filter box, focus the pane, or clear the filter to get the list back, plus the match is already selected. They only keystrokes need...

Re: Live filter - typing speed v when filter is executed
I didn't have those checked, but checking them didn't help.
The delay appears to be related to displaying a Custom: Version column, with List trigger.

Re: Live filter - typing speed v when filter is executed
Yep, just scrolling can be very slow (several second delay with each char typed). This would be improved by delaying processing while typing, ala Explorer (delay would occur only once after multiple letters typed and scroll position / selection would apply to all the typed chars).

Re: Live filter - typing speed v when filter is executed
+1.
The same option/behavior should also take effect when typing in the list to select a file (without the live filter). Especially on network drives, updating on each keystroke when typing several letters quickly is painfully slow.

Re: Get rid of modal dialogs...
Opening a 2nd instance is not that esasy, coz' I have a button on the taskbar, so when XY is running, it won't open another one for me, but take me to the modal dialog instead... Hold down Shift when clicking the button to open a new instance (you do also need Allow multiple instances to be enabled...

Re: Windows photo apps - cannot page through opened photos
Well, if you claim to support it, maybe you should get it. I'm surprised you don't have virtual machines for each version that you support.

Same problem with the context menu and also when pressing Enter (all 3 methods work as expected in Explorer).

Re: Windows photo apps - cannot page through opened photos
I can confirm this behavior. And thank you -- I thought this was a general problem with the photo app in Win10, but I now see that it works properly when launching from Windows Explorer.

Re: Focus list after entering/selecting folder in address ba
If not, can it be fixed to do this by default? In Windows Explorer, typing/selecting a folder in the address bar and pressing Enter sends focus to the file list pane. In XYPlorer, focus remains in the address bar and you have to press Tab to get to the list pane. Thanks.

Re: No visible control change when app loses focus
Yes, I know and agree it's non-standard. But it would take an unproportional effort to fix this, and I also see some good in the fact that I can recognize the focused control even when the app is in the background. Since the non-active tab has the correct look, would it really be that difficult to ...

Re: Just checking...
Concerning your speed issue with the context menu: this can be totally cured (the same speed as the standard menu is possible). I have to talk to Mesh about this. This would be great. I have found the 64-bit context menu to be too slow to enable by default (also, it's non-standard behavior for the ...
