Am really feelings stupid! Have spent an hour or so trying to put together a simple Visual Filter for:
Files Modified or Created Yesterday.
It seemed straight forward but darned if it can be made to work!
Can someone with insight tell how to do it?

When looking at a list of folders a right-click produces at the top of the possibilities Open in other pane. Would love to see another choice added: Open in new tab. The reason is more often work using only one pane not two.

Re: Is there an embedded text editor in XYplorer?
Not being much into writing scripts choose an apple pie simple approach. This works for me on small text files; your mileage might be different.
Select the file then File | to Clipboard | Text. Next hit TB button Edit Clipboard. Not fancy but all right there in the program. Good enough here.

Re: Coloring the Sliders
Thank you for that explanation. XYPLORER is so flexible in so many areas just assumed it could do that also. Did not realized it was tied to Windows itself.

Coloring the Sliders
In Configuration | Colors & Styles would love to have an option to add color to the programs Sliders, both vertical and horizontal. On the small screen of a notebook - especially in dim light - they can be hard to distinguish from the battleship gray section borders. Or maybe even just give them...

Re: Toolbar - Enable Color Filters
@ totmad1 - An awesome job! Your innovative approach accomplishes the the task at hand by a means I would have never thought of. Will try to remember the SC button for future use. It has the ability to pull my bacon out of the fire for many scripts that I have been struggling with. Thank you for you...

Toolbar - Enable Color Filters
There is a handy TB button available called Enable Color Filters . It was one of the first on my toolbar. How would like to add that function to a script. But after pouring through both the Help and PDF cannot find the Command ID to accomplish this. Two possibilities come to mind: it is there under ...

Easy way to start Speech Recognition?
Am using Windows 7. Is there an easy way to start Speech Recognition (C:\Windows\Speech\Common\sapisvr.exe) without having to laboriously wade through Speech Recognition of Control Panel each and every time? Have tried numerous approaches including Run As Administrator but nothing gets it going. Adm...
