Tweaks are always good.... but imagine new user who install trial version and something is not as he wants. Steps to reproduce: - have a list of files for example 50 - select the first file in the list - hold shift and pres arrow down to mark some files, for exaple 5 and shift+delete them - now hold shift again and press page down to select files some files after the first one will not be selected/missing...

I also prefer to have "CLONE TAB" back when clicking on "+". Because I usualy want to work around the folder in the tab on left side of new one. And yes, "this PC" takes 5 seconds to show for me.

Yes, for example 2000.I will check if that is case. Mostly I have feeling it happena when I do very quick steps (marking.. deleting...) , maybe I never release shift and just hit del. I will do best investigation.
