Check for new official version

I uploaded a file version.php that just contains the current official version. Hence you can now use a script like this to check: $ver = readurl("http://www.xyplorer.com/version.php"); if (compare($ver, <xyver>, "v") == 1) { msg "There is a new official version ($ver) availa...

I tried it and I think the WE/7 way is not good.

Try to find a crowd of fools and I rethink it.

Re: Config drawing glitch?

Can't confirm with 9.70.0006 on Windows 7 x64 in Aero mode with ATI Radeon driver 8.672.1.2000. Is there anything non-standard about your config like Stardock WindowBlinds or something? I have a custom theme and text render installed and running, but that's the only area where a glitch is present. ...

Erm, I don't like that parens are required here but I'll get over it.
Looks totally normal to me. I'm not aware of a language where this would be different.

Re: Permanent Startup Path

It's not that easy to keep the UI in sync when changing one of the many factors... anyway I tried something. In the next BETA look for an INI key StartPanePerm and choose one of these settings: StartPanePerm=0 (start with last pane) StartPanePerm=1 (start with 1st pane) StartPanePerm=2 (start with ...

Thanks, but that was a misunderstanding. Please send them to me as emails. I need to reproduce the error by dragging them from my email client.

If only we had a not-operator then you could make it: if (! get('#800')) { #800; } If only...  Try next version. (No time to document it...) PS: All this should work in 9.70.0005... looks like I got it. :D I had expected that this would also work: $a = 'a'; if (! "$a" L...

soon XY will have a light table mode with permanent free sort order... Thats great news -- AGAIN! PLEASE, while you're already at it, make free/manual sort order also (optionally) permanent in Details View (e.g. add an optional column named "custom sort" or similar). THIS will be a KILLER...
