Re: clickable paths

As I understand it Don is intending to use the pane header (like x² & T.C.) and not the address bar (as Vista & DOpus) do. The principle is the same, but I prefer the T.C. implementation. T.C. layout - directories shown in a scrollable list (scroll bar and arrow keys top / bottom). Ok, I se...

Re: clickable paths

:( Nope! Neither here! Got a link for the deprived among us? zer0 to the rescue! Thanks zer0. Perfect shot! The cool thing is that you can click on an arrow on any one of the folders to get a sub-directory listing (for example, Local Disk (C:) and Computer in zer0's screenshot) ...and if you click ...

Re: clickable paths

Speaking of clickable paths/breadcrumbs -- Vista has a pretty nice way of doing it where you can navigate from the breadcrumb via a drop down list of folders....well, we've all either used Vista or seen the screenshots, right? Is there any way something like that can be implemented?

Re: A BIG problem-someone pls help me :(

Kind of obvious, but have you checked to make sure the email didn't get caught by a spam filter or something? You betcha! Read my first post ;) I keep checking the spam folder 2-3 times everyday, and all I get to see are viagra ads, make money ads, etc., instead of Don's email   oops Sti...

Re: A BIG problem-someone pls help me :(

I'd say it is safe to assume that you'll get your license within 15 days no problem. Most of the time Don answers questions before you even ask. Yeah, he's like that. When I bought my license I'm pretty sure I got it via email pretty much instantly...of course that was a few years ago, but I d...

Make sure the Auto sync checkbox is checked in the Find tab. That should do what you're looking for.

Edit:

...will XPlorer 7.9 mow the lawn, feed the cat and take the trash out ??? Does that mean I have to have a lawn that need to be mowed, and get a cat? I don't want any pets! Other than XY! Surely you jest, right? The trick to all this is to get the CATS to mow the lawn, take out the tra...

Re: Tetsting XY on Windows 7

I'm running XY on Windows 7 now, if you have any specific tests you're interested in let me know. So far it all looks good. :) That a good start! So, msvbvm60.dll is delivered with Windows 7? Goody. :D It sure is - what are you doing with VB? Uhm, just playing around a bit...

Re: Everytime I select a word doc XYPlorer immediately opens it

If you DO like having the Preview tab open all the time, you can go into Tools|Configuration|Previewed Formats and uncheck any file types you DON'T want previewed (i.e. .doc, .xls, etc.). I have mine set up so no Office documents are previewed pretty much for the same reason that you were complainin...

Re: Everytime I select a word doc XYPlorer immediately opens it

Have you tried the registry maneuvers suggested to see what effect it has? (although I'm not too confident that it'll solve your problem, but you never know) The single click behavior you describe sounds like Windows Explorer's "Single-click to open an item (point to select)" option, but I...

Re: Everytime I select a word doc XYPlorer immediately opens it

JustinF, thanks for that research! However, now on re-reading the original post, I'm beginning to wonder if somehow SAW is getting what I knew in Win Expl as the "Select on single click" but I don't recall that XY has any setting like that...or does it? If so, where? Yeah, I was a little ...
