sorry I thought this a new behavior

with explicit save only on:
paper will save items if drag comes from other tabs.
paper won't save items if drag comes from outside xyplorer.

msg get("Tabs", <crlf>, 1); this command doesn't return virtual folders in active pane.
Contrary to this echo tab("get", "path"); which tells you the path of current virtual folder

thanks. /exclfile=*.lnk will do the trick

when using this switch /itypes=lnk the search doesn't return folders. Is this how it works?

from help file:
/itypes= Setup a custom type filter via a list of ;-separated extensions (jpg;png;raf) that shall NOT be returned by the search. Wildcards supported.

since you are not interested in this bug anymore. just I have question: do you see the behavior i have described in your installation or not? because it doesn't happen in old versions

So why this message does not appear in a fresh instance? after several experiments, I found Apply list styles globally [Styles] is the culprit. apply it after fresh install and the message will began to show exit xy, delete <xydata>\Panes and the calculate folder size will return to act normal

i changed it to E:\ and now the message is getting size of E:\
