Re: Forest for the trees!
Thanks for the reply, people. Admin said: "A glance on my roadmap should suffice for a reasonable man to forget about schnickschnack like dual tree. There's real good stuff waiting to be done..." - I can't see the point (no offense!) of prioritizing Find Dupes and Folder Synch while the ba...

Rename loop.
Can't get rid of a system notification when trying to rename a file which was mistakenly renamed as having the same name as a previous existant file with that same name, both on tree and file list. Any ideas on how to get around this...?

Re: text replacer
Confirmed - xyPlorer CAN check the nature of a .txt (ANSI, etc). It seems that this thread is dead, so I'll take some chance this weekend and try to get the stuff done - at least the simple version I need. *Geez, I should have learned computing...*

"Recent " parameter
-Why not having a %recent% parameter so I can easily manage my "recents" folder, as I constantly need to reach that folder on various system configurations I have?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Forest for the trees!
I lost a tree... or it simply doesn't exist? Can't find a way to define a layout in order to have dual tree. As a researcher, it's a nightmare to manage files in a dual pane vs single tree config! That means: constantly moving files to wrong folders, deleting files from the wrong places when compari...

Re: Fast context buttons
...that easy so we can have it soon, admin? What I currently do is spreading sets of XY folders (installments) all over across partitions. Sometimes it becomes a complete pain in the neck to identify which task I have to continue in a priority list, or status of a task. "Save workflows" co...

Re: HowTo execute POM without any file selected?
...wondering if Stefan wants a way to get rid of that message and having an easier way to associate non-associated files, permanently or not... I missed something like that, recently. Mostly to try and compare portable apps' releases (FoxIt Reader), for instance, and decide which one would be best t...

Re: Tree not Auto-Refreshing when creating folder in inactive ta
I follow nas8e9's request. Working with many partitions request a little bit more attention when dealing with XYplorer. The feature I miss the most is a second tree to work with - being a PowerDesk user for 7 years, I'm trying to get XY my default file manager. Problem is that I lost several files/f...

Text Replacer, v1.1
-Suggestion: I believe I saw anywhere that XYplorer now has a .txt check. So it would be great having such a check prior to making a file change. -If it does NOT have such check, or that check doesn't fit on a script, I suggest that a extension check could be made prior to even trying to change a fi...

Simple version request
Please don't laugh, but as a script newbie I HAVE to ask: -would you mind in posting also a simpler version, which I could use along with CKS (meaning "custom keyboard shortcut")? What I have in mind is: select mixed text files (.txt and .ini, for instance) and applying a text replacing pr...

Count me in!
Hello, Muroph!
Thank you for the script, I was badly needing such a thing a month ago.
Currently unable to test it properly on my work machine, where that project lays.
But please count me in - it seems that your advanced script will be very useful!
-Have a great new year all!
