Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here
v19.80.0115 - 2019-03-21 19:24 + Patch Internal Images: Added a tweak that lets you completely customize the toolbar images (and, in future, maybe even other internal images) in an elegant, portable, and shareable way. You simply state a path where you have your beautiful image files. The path can ...

preserving folder dates with "backup to" not working [SOLVED]
XYplorer ver 19.5; Windows 10. I am moving files from a NAS share to a local hard drive, using "backup to.." to try to preserve folder dates (in addition to file dates), but all I can get is today's date on folders copied to the new location (file dates are preserved correctly). Tools \ Fi...

Re: How do I click on the desktop to launch a new xy window?
It's overkill, but you can kind of accomplish this with Listary (listary.com). Double-clicking on desktop (or in Explorer or file dialog white space) pops up a customizable menu on which you can put XY.

Re: XYSkinner [DEPRECATED]
Appreciate the contribution. Sorry I couldn't continue with this. As far as I'm concerned the script still works fine :), and it's no big deal to use ResHacker even if it didn't. Too bad there aren't more users interested in it, but I get it. Anyway, I just updated the images for my own use a...

Re: XYSkinner [DEPRECATED]
I know the XYskinner script is abandoned for now and no longer available for download, but I have updated the "flat" series toolbar graphics to the 580x500 pixel size used by XYplorer ver 16 (~ 15.80), and I thought I would post them for anyone who still has and is using the script or is i...

Re: Preview 2.0 - Generic Thread
Vertical preview pane sizing/centering glitch--
Yes it happens w/ fresh install. It doesn't happen if the pane is left open from previous run. I think I have tracked it down--it appears to be another Medium 125% fonts issue. Was able to make glitch go away by setting to Smaller 100% fonts.

Re: Preview 2.0 - Generic Thread
Have noticed a glitch w/ the vertical preview pane-- When first activated the previews in the pane are shifted slightly down and push off the right side of the pane. This effect remains on switching among files in the list. If the preview pane is resized, even slightly, the preview jumps to being pr...

Re: Double-clicks within Windows Explorer
Afaik no scope exists to in- or exclude specific applications after registering a program as default for folders / drives. OK.. You threw me with that and I had to look into this a little, but confirmed it does work as I described and was sure I remembered in a certain Australian file manager we do...

Double-clicks within Windows Explorer
The Shell Integration feature 'XYplorer is default file manager' provides desirable behavior in almost all cases. However, when using Windows Explorer, as is occasionally useful, it is inconvenient to have double-clicks on folders in Explorer open the folders in XY rather than update the Explorer wi...

Is there a setting or tweak I am missing that will make newly created folders be automatically added to the mini tree? If no, this would be helpful :-).

Re: box selection behavior
. . Sticky to be enchanced with "numerous times" mouse selection ability = currently if one selects few files by draging a selection, and tries to select more in same way, selection is lost. =/ You can use [Ctrl]-mouse select while in sticky (just as when sticky off) but agree it seems un...

Also through the menu by: Window\Show Tree, Window\Show Catalog, and Window\Show Navigation Panels (for both at once). All have built-in kb shortcuts but they can be customized.

Re: License or registration questions
Try typing:
::#1061
in the address bar (empty it first, press Enter when done).
If that doesn't bring it back why not just copy the portable XY version files into the XY folder?..
