Starting somewhere after version 23.90.0000, the cached network servers no longer show under the Network tree folder. If I click on the Network tree folder, the cached servers show up in the list but if I click on the server name in the list an error message pops stating the server is not accessible...

I have reinstalled 20.70.0000 as it behaves like previous XY versions when it comes to PDF thumbnails.

Don, thanks for staying on this. I had to bug out for a bit. Here's what I just tried. -installed 20.70.0017 -deleted all files from thumbnail database folder -view thumbnails for pdf folder -checked thumbnail database folder ... the XYThumbs.txt is present, but only the .dat2 file. The .dbits file ...

First is 20.70.0016, second is 20.70.0017 after Shift-T to refresh thumbnails.

I had not removed PDF from "Preview as Thumbnail". 20.70.0017 displays generic PDF thumbnail. 20.70.0016 displays PDF thumbnail. As a note, the "Preview" PDF entry is displayed in blueish font while the other entries are in white. Because I added the PDF?

This option has always been ticked: "Concerning your issue: This should be ticked to show PDF thumbnails: Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Show thumbnails for non-images"

Update: Installed 20.70.0017 and PDF thumbnails revert to generic icon.

This week I applied the latest Win11 update: 2021-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008215)

Low and behold, like magic, networked computers appear in XY.

So, this was a Win11 issue that has been resolved by Micro$oft?
