Re: CFA - script for folders only?

D:\Home\*\>::msg "Hello<crlf><pfaitem>";
This doesn't seem to work.

Also, if by default, a double click navigates within XY, we don't need to have the tweak. If any PFA's are set, they would override the default action which would be (do something;navigate to folder;do something)

Re: CFA - script for folders only?

Would it be nice to have the tweak this way - if the tweak is set by default double click would still navigate within XY. Set PFA for locations where you actually need something else done. This would remove the need to have a catch all item
\>::goto <pfaitem>;

Re: Runtime error 387 at starting version 15.70.0105

Error comes on starting up the latest beta on Win 10. Can be reproduced on Fresh.

XY doesn't crash following that but this disables Permanent Variables

Enhancement to Portable Tabs

?: refers to the drive XY is executed from. If navigated to that drive from My Computer, the path isn't portable and needs to be relocated. Similarly, if from a relocated location, I move to another drive and come back to the XY drive, it becomes absolute path again and needs relocating. Could you p...

Re: XY Surprise on Windows 10

I am referring to the XY icon on Windows taskbar. I have it pinned over there and these files are appearing like kind of jumplists. These files are different from the Recently Opened Files. I would have cleared more than 200 from there but the list still goes on. Does anyone see a similar behavior o...

XY Surprise on Windows 10

I get a recent menu on Right Clicking XY icon. I don't where the list is picked up from. The list is showing files and on clicking it, it navigates to that folder and selects that file. I had browsed these files atleast few days back and with Floating Preview. The list is pretty huge, got tired on r...

Re: Session Manager [v4.a2 ML(3)]

Aren't you planning to upgrade this to the strict XY scripting rules? I'd totally overlooked this feature… Very pertinent idea, I like this as an valid update feature for v4! I'm on it, will release a "strict" beta with the latest fixes in a few. Until them, if some of you have terrific ideas, keep...

Re: Active tab is used when a folder is opened from outside

I had been waiting a month for replies but never saw these replies.

It works good with Default tabs. For 3 and 4, I have started passing the parameters through XY Remote Control and now it works as I would like it to.

Re: Help Required - Smart Move and Rename

Yes, but counting files in the highest subfolder value isn't required either. With your help, I have managed to get it working The below code is working as per expectations (though it lagged a little bit on moving it to a sub-folder - don't know why). Thanks again for helping me out. Edit: Re-writte...

Re: Help Required - Smart Move and Rename

Thanks highend. Not exactly what I want (I see that you are processing the subfolders 1,2 etc which isn't needed). I will try to achieve something from this and post back The new set of files are in a completely different directory (D:\Home\Downloads). The files would be moved to another directory (...

Re: Help Required - Smart Move and Renam

First Occurence would be when the folder doesn't have any folders and hits the threshold of 1000 file i.e.; it has 1001 files or more (lets says 1010). So, the first 1000 files should be moved to a subfolder named 1. Now the parent folder would have A subfolder named 1 with 1000 files in it and 10 f...
