Thanks Don - for fixing 1 and 2. 3. As I said its preferences. I was looking at it from an angle where I simulate a Ctrl+Backspace with an extra key on my mouse and would want it populate there. But again, I can't wish for the file menu to populate where my mouse icon is, when triggered through a KS...

Don,
A glitch with open folders. The open/selected state icon doesn't get applied to a folder and any of its sub-folders if you create subfolders in it. Gets rectified by a restart, but as soon as another folder is created, it re-occurs.

Welcome, just forgot mentioning you would have to add the /r switch as well for applying the pattern recursively.

To respect the icons specified in desktop.ini , please use /d in the pattern
E:\*\ /d ><xyicons>\coloredfoldericon.ico

Don, A very small wish but it would be really helpful for a set of users. Scenario: XY is installed on D:\.
