"fast jump" folder lookup
Don, it is exciting to see all the improvements to XYplorer recently! I'd like to make a request for a new feature, unless I missed existing functionality that would cover it. (I reviewed documentation but didn't exactly see this.) I believe this could be one of the more important, workflow enhancin...

copy/paste without hidden/system files
Is there a feature in XYplorer to copy/paste files and folders but exclude any hidden/system files within them?
For example, I'd like to be able to quickly copy a directory, wherein numerous desktop.ini files exist, to a new location but not include those .ini files in the final destination.

Re: Separate Address bars, positioned within the tabs
I recognize this is an old thread, but I just noticed something pertinent. I would like the option to have a tab address bar in each pane, underneath the tabs. The main address bar could be left as-is (full width, for maximal use of space), and then the user could optionally turn on the pane-specifi...

Re: dark theme
Made a little research, and things look better now. I can indeed customize the colors of buttons, scrollbars etc... And since File Explorer just came out with an optional Dark Theme, I thought it's the right time to have that here too. So, XYplorer Dark Theme is coming... :) Thank you, Don! Looking...

Re: content search not returning results for Word documents
Support for being able to use 64-bit iFilters is currently in the works. Shouldn't take too long until this appears in one of the following betas... That will still require appropriate iFilters for the document types to be searched! highend, Don - this is excellent. Many thanks for putting in the w...

Re: content search not returning results for Word documents
Hi highend - thanks for the detailed response. You're right, too - you didn't tell anyone to write a script. I think Stephen Austin was talking generally, like many users might in his situation, about the abrupt and somewhat condescending style of responses he got, which seemed incongruous with his ...

Re: content search not returning results for Word documents
Hello highend - I really do appreciate your advanced knowledge and the technical expertise you bring to these discussions. However, I have to ask: Do you gain some sort of satisfaction by being abrupt, somewhat rude, and effectively driving customers away from XYplorer? I find your attitude to be re...

Re: content search not returning results for Word documents
Stephen, thanks for your thoughtful and eloquent contribution here. Despite the response you and I have received on this issue, I would encourage you to stick with XYplorer if you can. Over the last couple years, I've been increasingly convinced that it remains the best file manager available, despi...

Just tried the script with Agent Ransack and that application returns the error:
"Command line flag '-lee' is not valid."

Re: tab("new") command line - changing existing tab in running instance
May I ask: In the use case I described, why is the default behavior to change the location of an existing tab in the existing instance? I might be wrong, but I would think the typical expectation would be (a) if I'm simply asking to open a new tab, (b) XYplorer should respond as if I've clicked the...
