Re: Can't view NEF in preview mode, or see NEF thumbnails

BTW, does or did anybody here use SageThumbs 2.0.0.15 Yep', and NEF files are showing perfectly with SageThumbs (thumbnails, previews, MDBU,...). For now, SageThumbs' only problem for me has been with X3F files, which don't render (in Win Explorer too) unless I force SageThumbs to use embedded thum...

Re: More speed please!

Hi' I don't know if that may help track down the culprit(s), but I also had/have the ~3sec lapse when opening from internal HDD (yet unopened) folders containing around ~100+ folders (rather than lots of files I believe). This is under WinXP SP2 (personally customized), then WinXP SP3 (default), no ...

Hi' This is indeed a useful post... that I had missed before! So I'll thank the poster nonetheless :) , and bump the post with a few keywords to help future searches: For those who need an image codec pack or WIC Codecs (Windows Imaging Component) to view their pictures, try the suggestions here! Re: How to get ("selecteditemsnames") for "basenames" only

Hi' I just saw that highend beat me to it ;) There's probably other ways but this (verbose) one should suit you: foreach($myitem, get("SelectedItemsPathNames", "|"), "|") { $mytextfile=getpathcomponent($myitem, "base"); new("$mytextfile.txt"); }

Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here

Hi There! (& back online long enough to write 8) ) Duh, I discovered this thread and I feel really late to the ball  . But among the many things to thank for, I thought I'd pick one of my favorite (underrated) gem which I use pretty much all the time: + Custom Event Actions (CEA): Added ano...

MouseDownBlownUp on Steroids: on icons (List, Details View)

Hi there, The title pretty much says it all, but maybe the purpose will be more obvious if I elaborate... First, one assumption: with all the various kinds of (useful) previews available, I would say that (except when launched from a preview) the strong point of the MouseDownBlownUp is its status of...

Re: Floating Preview icon

Hi guys, I may be slightly off topic since I won't suggest a specific icon (can't search right now), but I know it's hard to keep a visual coherence when creating or customizing a soft... So I thought I'd contribute by suggesting this library of icons: http://openiconlibrary.sourceforge.net/ It's Op...

Re: Search Pattern Switch: Find only folders

Don't recall the name but there was another guy whose rule was that "Murphy was an optimist!" As we all are, I guess - with our wishes... And the (great!) updates are merely acting as enhancers! Hmmm, well, since I can't stay online for long, I guess I'll keep my strength to wri...

Re: Search Pattern Switch: Find only folders

According to Murphy's Law somebody will ruin his life (and then mine) due to that little change... Hek Hek, that is so true! Mr. Murphy is the Arch-Nemesis of the Best Case Scenario. So whatever you decide (leave things as is for now, or engage a preliminary safe 'tweaky' phase) wi...

Re: Search Pattern Switch: Find only folders

Wow... You're too fast for me  . So old code would find more / search deeper than before. Indeed... so it's hard to tell how much of a "break" it would really be. Besides, it would be good to know if many people really use the search switches in code, be it 'light' (aliases, catalog....

Re: Search Pattern Switch: Find only folders

I'll think about a way to introduce it without breaking old code... Hi there, I reckon it's a rather low priority, and I've no idea what happens behind the scenes of XYplorer! But I haven't been able to participate until now, so since I started this thread, I thought I might as well give a suggesti...

Re: Search Pattern Switch: Find only folders

Hi Don, I just played with the new " /d " toy tool, and it works a breeze! 8) Thanks again! But that made me understand that your question wasn't just about the isolated "/". I hadn't realized that unlike what I said, it can lead to a change of behavior when f or d are used. One ...

Re: Search Pattern Switch: Find only folders

Geeez!!! And I said staggering... I guess I was wellllll below the truth! Thanks a lot, Don! Regarding your suggestion, well yes, it makes sense to keep only lettered switches - especially since switches are supposed to be combinable, and obviously the "/" can't keep its purpose when...

Search Pattern Switch: Find only folders

Hello World! /*OT: Half a year since I fell for a lifetime with XYplorer  . And I couldn't find the time to review it yet: I'm still too busy tweaking it! It's so addictive, and the frequency of updates is staggering... Congratulations on such a dedication, and such a wonderful program! :ap...
