I guess what the OP means is a dynamic group of buttons - one for each drive, which automatically adds/removes a button for removable drives (USB sticks) plugged in/out.
That is well what I have in mind.

Not really, since the catalog is not dynamic: if I insert a usb device, the letter is assigned as needed, but in the catalog I must define all the possible disks beforehand, and if there is no device attached then it simply sits there for nothing. While the catalog is a place to store things, it tak...

Drive icons

When I copy files from a nested folder on a crowded disk to a usb key, I must select the files and then scroll down to display the usb drive which is always at the end of the left panel. I would appreciate having drive icons (not a pop-up) on the toolbar, in a fixed position in my work space, ready ...

Okay, it was easy this time. I simply had made a little mistake. Version 1.00.0010 should work in Classic Theme. Very Happy
Correct. Works in Windows Classic and in Windows XP themes, without the need to select the Use WM_MouseWheel box.

Also works in Vista with ThouchPad...

Good work.

I am using Win XP Pro with Window Classic, when I switched over to Window XP theme, the scrolling worked, both vertical and horizontal. Same here, with Windows XP theme scrolling works even without ticking the two boxes (use WM_MouseWheel & Apply Extra Wheel Support). Everything stops working w...

I have the same settings as you, except that the wheel advances 3 lines at a time and not 6. Setting it to 6 make no difference.

The deactivated applications are exactly the same as yours.

All this has no effect on my mouse scroll which still does not work in 1.00.0009. Mouse specifics: From the control panel: Wheel mouse optical Click for left and right buttons Auto scroll From device manager: Microsoft PS/2 mouse (Intellipoint) Note that scrolling is fine with mouse with 7.10.0018 (...

I added extra wheel code. Does it wheel-scroll now when you check "Extra Wheel Support"?
No it does not.

Also, I note that the message does not change. I do not know what the X and Y mean, but they do not change when the mouse is moved around.

OK, tested 1.0.07 On Desktop with mousewheel: Color change (from white to grey) is there, but Scroll reaction (can't really call this scroll) is independent of focus - it is always there. Messages displayed in textbox. Testing on laptop with TouchPad: Vertical scroll OK, stops when scroll area loses...

Downloaded yesterday's test app to my desktop (Win XP, a Logitech basic mousewheel). The reaction to the mousewheel is almost inexistent: the vertical scroll goes from 0/0 to 5/0 and back no matter how much I scroll the wheel. On this platform, this limited vertical scroll does not depend on the hor...

This new test scrolls fine with my touchpad as long as the horizontal scrollbar is not unchecked. Once the horizontal scrollbar is unchecked, checking it back does not enable the vertical scrolling.

Couldn't test the horizontal scroll since the touchpad only produces a vertical scroll.

JustinF's problem reminds me of an issue I had with PowerDesk when I just got my Vista laptop (Asus F5V): every time I tried to Drag & Drop a file PowerDesk would die the Vista way "The application has stopped working...". It turned out that Drag&Drop was captured by Toshiba's Blue...

I would note that, for me, Firefox appears to be one of very few (if not the only) application that doesn't show the scrolling icon. Explorer does, Eclipse does, Outlook does... I can add that OpenOffice shows the scrolling icon, and so does Visual Studio C++ Express 2008. Thunderbird doesn't. It l...
