It seems to me that the OP is asking for something different than having XY incorporate native Zip capability - he's asking that XY accept files dropped from WinXP's Zip handler.
I'm trying out a new piece of software called JungleDisk ( http://www.jungledisk.com ) that provides a WebDAV network interface to Amazon's S3 storage service ( http://aws.amazon.com/s3 ). The JungleDisk software provides a couple ways to access the files. XY interacts with a mapped drive letter jus...

BTW, to refresh the tree press F4. F5 does only the list.
Is there a way currently to get F5 to do both, or will I have to wait for scriptable hotkeys? I like F5 to simply refresh everything so I don't have to think about why things aren't showing up.
Hmm... I was afraid that it might be some gunk on my machine interfering with something. I'll try to figure out what's going on. Update (12-Jul-07): a reboot of my machine fixed this problem. I have to remember to always reboot and repro before reporting what I think might be a bug... (rebooting - t...
If I use right-click "Move/Copy/Backup To"\"Copy To" to copy a file, the copy does not seem to work if the file already exists (but an older version). The old file does not get overwritten and there is not message to that effect. The "Backup To" variant does work. XY 6....
I don't know if I can do anything about it, since that edit box in the Address bar is one of the few controls I have not written myself but used the one MS provides. Which appears to be buggy. (Now you see why I re-wrote almost everything myself... ) Gotta do some research. Now we need to fi...
FWIW I am also seeing this behavior. If I examine the cmd process with SysInternals Process Explorer (ProcExp) there's a slightly different right-click menu behavior for these cmd processes than a standard cmd.exe process - for a normal cmd.exe, ProcExp has a context menu ("Window") that w...
One thing to be careful of with this wish is that XY is a single pane explorer - if you want to drag-n-drop files from one place to another with XY it's sometimes easiest to have 2 instances open. There have been several discussions about XY having a dual pane option (or not) - it's currently in the...
It well minimizes on startup in build 22 but the strange thing is that it also stay on the taskbar ... This new feature in 6.00.0022 is working fine for me (thanks, Don). Just in case the platform is a factor, I'm running Win XP SP2. Also, I hate to suggest it since there's no rational reason I can...
I wonder: is there any standard out there for such a switch?? like e.g.: XYplorer.exe /win=min|max|normal or so? I am not aware of any standard for this - what you propose above sounds fine to me. BTW, I don't understand this wish. I start XYplorer maybe once day (only to upgrade to the next...
