Re: Preventing Move/Focus to New Item

How about scroll-lock for each tab? For preventing auto-scrolling, but not manual scrolling.

New /e search flag: Find dirs only with other empty dirs

The new /e search flag is great! Any chance this might be upgraded to find directories that only contain other empty directories? Currently I have to run this many times to truly purge them all from a large folder structure...

Re: Preventing Move/Focus to New Item

I think he's asking, when moving a file from one pane to another, how can the display (scrolling) in the destination pane *not* change, even if that means the just-dropped item is not viewable.

Re: Regex rename template

For those learning regex, here's the Stack Overflow regular expression FAQ, which I maintain:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2293 ... 5#22944075

It's a great reference, and includes a list of online testers and explainers (debuggers) at the bottom.

Re: Sub-dirs in right-click of individual drive toolbar butt

Reading this again, I can see it can exactly be achieved with a custom button: Snip: CTB 1 XYplorer 14.70.0006, 12/18/2014 7:09:21 PM Action NewUserButton Name C:\ Icon label:C:\ ScriptL ::goto "C:\" ScriptR "applications" C:\applications\ "data_jeffy" C:\data_jeffy\ &q...

Sub-dirs in right-click of individual drive toolbar buttons

The individual hard-drive toolbar buttons currently take you to either the root, or the last-used directory. http://i.imgur.com/NXKtaic.jpg It'd be nice to have the ability to add a few arbitrary sub-directories directly to these buttons, as in this horrendous mockup: http://i.imgur.com/0U3ds14.jpg ...

Re: Sandboxie

That link is not letting me purchase anything. It all seems properly entered, but it keeps telling me "your cart is empty". I emailed the author. Hopefully they'll get back to me. I'm purchasing it sight unseen based on these comments and a few reviews I've read.

Re: Backing Up

A month or so ago, I had my first true hard drive failure (terabyte! luckily recovered everything), followed a few days later by my five-year-old computer, which just wouldn't turn on anymore...not even the initial BEEP. So much for the recovery disk. I now have a four year contract with crashplan ,...

Re: Dropbox support in XYplorer?

I even color-code the tabs so I know at a glance which tab is for which folder.
I see "Configuration > Colors > Tabs/List", but how do you set a custom color to an individual tab?

Duplicate file listing: Show only grps w/ 0 or >1 unselectd

I'm currently analyzing a list of 1,228 duplicate groups (2,653 files). It's a large directory that wasn't properly backed up, so I restored it as a duplicate, and am now combing through to make sure I have the latest changes. It'd be really helpful to display only those groups where there are zero ...

Re: Show off your Xyplorer!

I can't really answer that. My old computer had Windows 7 (32-bit) and was fine. Firefox was a bit of an unstable slow dog, so I switched to Chrome, but other than that, it suited me fine. My new computer is much faster and has Windows 8.1 (64-bit). I tweaked out every Windows 8 feature, so I'm basi...

Immediate selection of group w/ ctrl+click, as w/ shift

When you click a single file, then shift+click a second, all files between the first and second are selected--and if you keep the mouse button pressed, you can immediately drag the selected files. The same is not true with ctrl+click. When you ctrl+click another file, you must let go of the button a...
