Problem with newly created Layouts
This maybe should go in Bug Reports but thought to try here first. For the first time in over a year created a couple of new Layouts today. But when using Window | Load Layout they do not work! Here is the really strange part, the old Layouts do load and work! Has there been some change in the softw...

Is there a way to configure Batch Rename so that it numbers a selected set of files incrementally depending on if the initial figure given was odd or even? End result would like like this: 33 file 35 file 37 file etc or 60 file 62 file 64 file etc As Yul Brynner says in The King And I , "Its a ...

Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XY Switches Programming Language +++
The new incarnation of the software is estimated to be six months away. Don has stated that the name will need to remain the same. Still it should be modified in some fashion to make it crystal clear that it has cut the cord from Visual Basic. Recommend something like this: XYplorer NG 1.0 . In the ...

Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XY Switches Programming Language +++
WOW! XYplorer tardily moving into the 21st Century. Maybe this is the light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel we have been eagerly waiting for.
Knew the software was very complex but 250 KLOC's. Once-upon-a-time MS-DOS came on two diskettes.

Re: Putting Win 7 to sleep
Thank you for the response. This appears to be a more complex solution than anticipated but if it does what is needed will look into it. A new adventure!

Putting Win 7 to sleep
Can there be a script for a CTB to put a Windows 7 desktop to the same sleep mode that is available by going through the Start Menu sequence? The is the Sleep state and not any variation of Hibernate.

Return to last Paper Folder
Am making more use than ever of Paper Folders.
What is the fastest, easiest and most efficient way to get back to the last opened folder? This seems so utterly basic am surprised it is not on the Drop Down menu.

A seperate list for Permant Delete
Another request that arises directly from work. It would be useful if the program would keep a separate list somewhere of the items that have been subjected to Permanent Delete . Yes, they appear in the Action Log but if the Maximum Entries is set to or near 256 they can be difficult to find even us...

Re: Custom Tab Bar Height
Given all the KLOC's you have poured into this over now many years, seems like you could conjure up some keyboard compensate to do it.

"Color Filters fill the whole column" won't go away
Tried this new feature but didn't like it. Unckecked the box to turn it back off.
The peculiar thing is in some folders the file names reverted to the status quo. But in others they remained with the wide colors.
Nothing tried yet has fixed this! Any ideas?

Re: "Recent Locations" a little hard on the eyes
This approach would answer the request very nicely. And to keep everyone satisfied maybe give it an on/off option.malcheck - E:\Test\b\Pluto\malcheck
