Focus script issued from command line shows Computer folder
The following command line works if XY is not running, but if already running, displays the Computer folder in a new tab.
Code: Select all
XYplorer.exe /script="::focus 'P2'"

Re: Settings are erroneously saved
As from the beta description on the new tweak for this I understand that if you set the tweak to 0 that all changes made to tabsets during a session are automatically saved on exit (unless you exit without saving) and on a manual Save Settings. So in order to fulfill the OP's wish we must exit with...

Re: Settings are erroneously saved
I also need to have a pristine version of the tabsets handy. Guess I'll keep that upcoming tweak turned on. My understanding is that a new option, "Allow tabsets to be revertible across sessions", will be unmarked by default, and you would want to maintain this default to meet your needs.

Re: Settings are erroneously saved
I like the current way of being able to open a tabset and then do whatever to bring it to a "dirty" state with lots of extra tabs and location changes but then be able to just reload the tabset again to be back to a clean state. That's the way I use them anyway. I think this would continu...

Re: Settings are erroneously saved
Hello, thank you for this detail. From your message, I understand that XY is designed to have both saved and temporary tabsets, and that the temporary ones load on restart, rather than the saved ones. Is that correct? Regardless of the answer, I am uncertain why I have experienced variations in XY's...

Re: Settings are erroneously saved
I am running a portable installation in a directory called E:\data\utils\XYplorer\ . Below are the contents of Startup.ini . [Appdata] ; Path=%appdata%\XYplorer Path=E:\data\utils\XYplorer\Data I closed the erroneous tab and then saved the tabset. Upon restarting XY, I still find that the erroneous ...

Re: Settings are erroneously saved
Problem has recurred today. XYplorer is starting with my saved tabs plus one on the left that I did not explicitly save. "Panes" subdirectory's files are not timestamped today, except "2\t\tab_3.ini". Within the "Panes" folder are folders "1", "2", a...

Re: Settings are erroneously saved
You unticked "Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Save Settings | Save settings on exit", so nothing should be saved on Exit, regardless of any other ticks. And according to my code it is not saved. Are you sure the timestamps on those tabset files are set to the moment of app ...
