Re: Question about global variables
Thank you. I'm paying attention to your modifications to get a better understanding of how global variables work. You could also convert the script to have a single entry point which would set the global variables and then use Load to display the menu, and the two scripts would only need to call Glo...

Question about global variables
I'm trying to learn about scripting by doing baby steps here so don't laugh so hard about my code :D . I assigned the code below to a custom button on the toolbar and call it using the load command. A menu comes up allowing me to select one of the actions to be performed. As you can see on the code ...

Re: Question about "Run" script command
thanks TheQwerty
I knew it was related to the quotes. Where can i look to learn more about how the quotes affect the scripts. Is there something on the wiki that cover the proper use of quotes.
--edit--
Ooops, seems the wiki still not loading... So i'll dive into the help file for now

Question about "Run" script command
cmd /k "D:\Portable Programs\XYplorer\wget\wget.exe" --help If I run the above code under the windows dialog it does work as expected. The wget help manual comes up on a cmd window. When i tried doing the same under XYplorer using the run script command it doesn't work. I'm pretty sure it...

Favorites folder button on Copy to window
Just thinking if It makes sense to have a button to the Favorites folders, as the image above, on the Copy to/Move to dialog boxes.
Wondering what would others think about it.

Re: Backup w/log doesn't let go
I know this doesn't address your issue. But I found a program that may come useful, not only for when XYplorer does it, but to really know who's the culprit.
Take a look at it. http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/

License Lounge Key Field Change
This is more of an opinion for you to consider than a personal wish. But wouldn't be better if the "Key" field type on the License Lounge be changed to a password field. The way it is now, as soon as i type the first letter of the license the whole license appear from a prior use. I know i...

Re: Context Menu for Favorites Toolbar Buttons
I think it would make sense. What you could do in the mean time is add the following script as a favorite: "Manage Favorites" ::#613; That will do the trick for now. Thanks. I still think it would be a great idea to have it there as suggested. Also, since most of the other buttons display...

Context Menu for Favorites Toolbar Buttons
When you right click some of the buttons on the toolbar. You get a context menu with options that apply to that button. See image below as an example. http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/6606/001syt.jpg Wouldn't make sense to provide a similar context menu for the favorites buttons (Pictured below). ht...
