Re: Program Compatibility Assistant - flash.ocx
May not be related, hopefully not, but be careful. A similar type of pop-up happened with me yesterday. All of the sudden I had all sorts of craziness going on. Ended up with one of the win32 virus variants. Reading up on on the bleepingcomputer site they can disguise themselves different ways. Imag...

Re: Check for Updates Failed
I didn't delete the installed version first, but did re-install the same version over it. Ver 11.70.0100 Also did the following if it helps anything: 1) Checked the Help > About and the correct version and my license info is correct. 2) Entered the link shown in the error box http://www.xyplorer.com...

Re: Help using XY to Notate Screenshots
Stefan Thank you for your post and script help. I could have been clearer on the steps in my request. I'm trying your scripts and some are working as I want. I need to and will spend more time digesting these and report back. Unfortunately (not really... happy it is) my day job has taken up more of ...

Re: Help using XY to Notate Screenshots
I just knew there had to be some way to do this. I looked through the help guide and did some various forum searches. I just didn't know the correct search phrases to use. Sort of like the old "if you don't know how to spell a word, how do you look it up in the dictionary." I started down ...

Help using XY to Notate Screenshots
Occasionally while taking screenshots I want to add an individual comment to each after it is taken. The program I use has the ability to send a copy of the saved screenshot file name to the clipboard and also send a commandline afterward. With the command line in the screen shot program I have gott...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS#Alternate_data_streams_.28ADS.29 After reading the Wiki I'm glad I went back and re-read Marco's 1st post with instructions. NTFS Only. I still have a couple of thumb drives that are FAT formatted. I'd have been wondering why it wasn't working correct trying to cop...

Re: So - Favorite Folders - Why can't we assign shortcuts?
This is the way I do it and works great. The catalog is one of my most favorite features!RalphM wrote:Or add them in a catalog, if you can spare some vertical screen space from the tree.

Re: Tag Backup 0.99
I thought in a backup situation one would like to copy the tags from the sources to the ADS of the targets . The targets would not have tags anyway since XY does not copy the tags. So no need to remove any tags. Ah gotcha, and flawless logic by the way. Are you planning about including this routine...

I would also find this helpful if not too difficult to include.

Re: OT: Deleting Junctions
Thanks!
Edit: BTW... Is there a command to list, show a catalog, of all of the stock xyp icons and what they refer to?
I've looked & if it's there missed it.

Re: OT: Deleting Junctions
For a non-programmer/coder/scripter like myself, until the next version, is there anything I should be careful not to do that could fall into this and I loose files or folders that I don't have a back-up copy of yet? For instance I have set up a catalog that one group is set up as a simple program l...
