Re: DiskManager
First of all this is a very useful script for me. Thank you serendipity. Some remarks: 1. I always have to select a folder prior to being able to see the bars. Why don't you consider the folder of the current active tab as starting point for displaying the graphs? I have made a user button and it wo...

Re: Tough words about GUI
Another pointer to mull over is how a GUI is displayed. By that I mean how much horizontal and vertical space is used. These days, manufacturers of monitors practically abandoned 4:3 screens and moved on to 16:10 or 16:9. This means that there's substantially less vertical space than horizontal. Th...

Re: Constant Crashes
For testing purposes I can recommend VirtualBox. http://www.virtualbox.org/.
We use this virtualization software in our company. Hope this wasn't too Off Topic.

Re: Missing Ctrl+Right and Ctrl+Left shortcuts
Ctrl+Any Arrow key is used to change the focused item without changing the selection in the list view. They're standard navigation keys for any list view so XY doesn't allow them to be used. EDIT: That said you could assign the commands to other keys and then use AutoHotkey to override XY's definit...

Missing Ctrl+Right and Ctrl+Left shortcuts
Hi
I would like to assign mentioned shortcuts for back and forth cycling through the tabs. They are neither free nor taken.
So where are they?
Thanks

Re: Constant Crashes
You may provide Don with your system configuration by going to Start->Run and typing msinfo32.
The results can then be saved, zipped and sent to Don.

Re: Constant Crashes
As a last resort try Process Monitor. This tool logs all background process, thread and registry activity. You can scan the log after the crash and look for entries whose time-stamp match the time of the crash. Perhaps you can isolate the problem by doing so. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysin...

Re: Constant Crashes
You may check the event viewer for suspicious entries related to the crashes. Perhaps there are program entries whose dates correlate with the dates of your crashes. Those entires may help you track down the culprit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Event_Viewer http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427/en...

Re: Highlight an item when moving the mouse to its row?
A feature like this might be useful to those who may have some vision issues to easier see where they are and not mis-select the wrong item. I am a bit near-sighted which is corrected by contact lenses but otherwise I don't have any vision issues. So I think the suggestion has nothing to do ...

Re: XYplorer.reg Not inporting to registery
Welcome frenchsquared! I just added the keys into the registry with administrator rights on Vista x64. I Double-clicked in XYplorer on my xyplorer.reg file. Everything is working fine here afterwards. Alternatively you may import the content directly via regedit. Make sure that no HIPS or UAC dialog...

Re: Considering to buy XYplorer, but have two questions
I just assumed Windows 2000 according to your screen shots showing the old-fashioned interface.
Please forget about this. Programs on Windows 7 ought to have no GDI problems.
