Well, six hours to 2012 where I am now. :)

Try if v10.70.0106 fixes it.

Re: Random crash

Morning, Ever since moving to 10.70.0100 (just two days ago) - I have experienced several nasty crashes in XY (where I had none using 10.60.0100 prior). These crashes usually occur from simply switching back to an active instance of XY that is already open on the Windows 7 Professional (x64) taskbar...

Custom Move Fails moving files on External Drive

Version: v10.30 EDIT: After taking full ownership of the external drive and giving my user account Full Control...this has been resolved. Here is what I get when attempting to "move" 10 files from an existing folder on external USB drive to a new sub folder created inside the original: htt...

Any reason why XYCopy.exe has to be part of UAC?

Recently - I have been moving a lot of files around and have noticed that when I move files from my Win 7 Pro workstation to a connected USB external - using XYplorer - I get a UAC prompt from Windows for the impending move and then yet another from XYCopy to the same question. I thought that XY use...

Re: Odd Tab Behavior on Folder Delete

Can't confirm that, sorry. I've created a folder on drive d: named "test" and then a folder "test1" inside the test folder. I select the "test1" folder in the tree, shift + del, the warning message comes and after confirming it, the "test1" folder is gone and...

Re: Odd Tab Behavior on Folder Delete

Can't confirm with 10.10.0003 on Windows 7 x64 SP1. Based on your description, it almost sounds as though your mouse and keyboard repeat: left-clicking with the Shift key in the Tree, is meant to open the current folder in a new tab. Three guesses: - a mechanical problem with your mouse and keyboar...

Odd Tab Behavior on Folder Delete

OK....I have noticed this more within the last 4 months or so and want to know id it's intended by design or do I have something not set right: On the left hand tree - if I highlight a subfolder at least one level down from a main folder (say on top level we have Temp and a subfolder in there called...

Re: Build 1000 crashing when Moving folders to new location

Can't confirm with 9.90.1006 on Windows 7 x64 SP1. Could you try: 1. with the latest beta (currently 9.90.1006); 2. with a clean profile (by copying only XYplorer.exe and XYcopy.exe to an empty folder and running it from there)? Also, do you have Tools > Configuration > File Operations > Enable bac...

Build 1000 crashing when Moving folders to new location

I have had Build 1000 crash at least a half dozen times with this scenario (with main tree open on the left): 1. Highlight a folder that is a subfolder of another folder 2. Drag it (holding down right mouse button) to a new target folder 3. Let the mouse button go and choose Move Here from the menu ...

Why can I not do anything with XY when I start a delete?

I am currently cleaning some junk up on the network but this happens with any file or files. Highlight a bunch of stuff...hit Delete and the normal Windows OS Delete dialog pops up (at least I think it is the OS one)...and you can see the progress of the delete happening....but that dialog is totall...

What's the deal with XY on network shares as of late?

Hello, For the last few builds (I am on 9.20.0100) I have really been struggling with this app browsing network shares. I consistently (but randomly) get Not Responding when jumping around folders on the local network. This server is just in the other room - so it's not some huge distance. Conversel...

AppCrash - creating folders/moving files in network location

Don, Here's some detail on a crash that has now happened 3 times in the last week. I am on Windows 7 x64. The specific XY message on screen mentioned something about "index out of bounds" or similar. I will screen cap it next time it happens My crashes occur on network locations only when ...

Re: Temporary non-responsive freezes on network drives

Have either of you tried running Process Monitor during these freezes to see what if anything XY is actually doing? I was so annoyed with this (and several other Win 7 symptoms) that I dropped Win7 and returned to Vista. However - while I didn't check Process Monitor while this was going on...I do ...
