Re: Do you like the new application icon?

Icons (and logos in general) are not for us to like it or not, It is a given, reflecting how the owners/developers want to present their product. We should consider ourselves lucky that we received the possibility to use the old one longer. Try to do it anywhere else, you would be laughed out.

Re: How do I create a catalog category which shows today's file

There is a power filter for it, so you can create a catalog item which sets that filter:

Re: App launcher

I am just wondering if you still maintain your great script. Because It works in a really strange way since some folders have changed on my computer. It would be good to check the existence of the Paths. In case of obsolete folders, the script does something strange, showing the sections which shoul...

Re: Hover Box doesn't close when moving over it, as mentioned in Help file

What is overlapping what? The filename and the hoverbox. But I was wrong, when my mouse is over the hoverbox, no scrolling happens at all, not even on the overlapping part, but actually I don't care at all. I always scroll it on the filename as it is meant to scroll. I won't sweat on this I just se...

Re: Hover Box doesn't close when moving over it, as mentioned in Help file

I understood that already, I moved my mouse over the box, the box stayed, and I could scroll it with the wheel . Hence I said "cannot confirm". Only if you are on the overlapping part. Otherwise it is not possible to scroll I can confirm that. However, the problem is not the scrolling its...

Re: Hover Box closes when moving over it, not mentioned in Help file

Don't blend the other stuff into this thread. You wrote that you separated it, so keep it that way. I answered strictly to your first post in this very thread. And what you wanted and wrote in the first post is a) nonsense b) not clearly stated. Your video doesn't show any bug but a normal way of wo...

Re: Hover Box doesn't close when moving over it, as mentioned in Help file

Interestingly, if you set the "Hover highlight items", the hoverbox works as expected Did you read this whole thread, in particular the part earlier where I was saying: After turning off the setting: Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Usability | Highlight hovered items I...

Re: Hover Box doesn't close when moving over it, as mentioned in Help file

Don, there is one possibility when you are able to move your mouse over the hoverbox (and it doesn't disappear until you move your mouse away from it and you are not able to scroll it until you go back over the filename). When you set the "Show Hoverbox" and "When hovering over the fi...

Re: Hover Box closes when moving over it, not mentioned in Help file

You misunderstand something, there is no bug here, everything works as expected. From the help file: How to open the Hover Box · Move mouse over the file or folder (icon or caption, depending on settings and list view). How to close the Hover Box · Move mouse out of the file. Hoverbox is shown only ...

No, not related to the ending space. In general. That pattern "*." doesn't seem to color the files without extension.

I see. By the way, I am just wondering why the "no extension pattern" works. The "*." Can you confirm that?

admin wrote: 27 Sep 2022 17:40 Maybe "* .???" assuming your extensions have 3 characters.
And another one for xlsx. "* .????" So there is no one row solution I guess.

Color filter for ending space

Sometimes files I get end with a space character which can break my process. I created a color filter to paint them red using the name filter "* .*" My problem is that it colors also the files containing space and dot in the filename which I don't care about. Is there a pattern which can m...
