Don't know what you mean by "standard in the industry", but it's easy to hide Tree at all, or make some optimizations to make it less populated, and all that doesn't require script use.

As a feature would be useless for most of users, but if you spend time for diving into XY scripting, all that is already possible.

Surely i know, i used jupe script-menu as example that menus with icons add comfort to use.

While new CEA is good addition, the new small menu is a useful extra! For the moment it's basically what i wanted the default menu to be shrunken to via script.
Yet once again it's a pity that XY doesn't allow base64 icons, menus with icons like that one from jupe add comfort.

Just in case: if you right-click on Glider there will be a context menu with all those options, no need to hog in INI anymore.

I can only presume that probably Q-Dir does some registry modification to swap itself with Explorer.exe in some registry key.
Guess you can try to search for registry modification to make such swap, if you really need this function.

You are clicking an internal link, that's why it opens native file manager(Explorer). I doubt XY's integration can overwrite that. Simply add XY icon to taskbar and pin to to be used instead of usual My/This PC icon.

+! Though i understand this probably won't get high priority, this feature would be useful to come at least in future. Apart from simple "see what you changed" this would allow to "see what is different and maybe causing you problem/bug behaviour". It's really a pain when you mig...
