Re: Views is buggy

1) After changing the views to "List" from "Details" menu still shows details. 2) In list view when re-clicking on "Views | List" shows Details view instead of staying in list view. Bug stills there with Beta ......407 Steps to reproduce. Starting with a freshly unpack...

Re: Views is buggy

Yes it happens to me also on version ....404 Also something that may be related to this problem. Try the following to see a strange behavior. 1- Put the "Show Hidden Items" and "Views" buttons on your toolbar. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/8636/hidenbutton.jpg http://img268....

Re: Button trigers after maximazing XYplorer if cursors lands it

There's not that much going on. So basically it goes as follows 1.- I start with XYplorer in a state as below. http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/5738/43239217.jpg 2.- I then decide to maximize the XYplorer window by double clicking the window title bar. http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/8704/9788858...

Button trigers after maximazing XYplorer if cursors lands it

XYplorer 7.90.0401 When you maximize XYplorer (by double clicking window title bar) and a button lands under the cursor it gets pushed. See the animated gif below to see what i mean. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/6325/c39965070362.gif http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/6325/c39965070362.gif (back...

Re: OT: file manager forum stats

My opinion only XYplorer forums has more activity because you (Don) are pumping out betas like there's no tommorow :D . So people have always something new to play with and hence ask questions or suggestions about it. I also agree with the fact that TC is a very mature program that people really don...

Re: Dual Pane Development Period

.... I cautiously ask what made you change your mind on Dual Pane? I say cautiously because I love the decision and don't want to "jinx" it - but after viewing a few of the threads it does leave me wondering..... Who cares.... :D DP is coming ..... ... Seeing this post made me for...

Re: Help With Script Involving 7-Zip.

That worked. Thanks to both of you for that. I was trying to get something like this to work but my script was already like five command lines long. Needless to say that it wasn't working. On the other hand people like you come around and achieve the same result with so little code..... Thanks...

Help With Script Involving 7-Zip.

I'm after a script that will extract a zip file and to the same folder and then then delete the zip file it just extracted. I've done some pretty basic scripts, no one of them with more than 4 lines, so this is clearly out of my expertise. OK so this is in detail what i want it to do. 1.- I will sel...

Re: Possible Bug In Rename Script Command

....You are indeed missing a comma. The above command uses the item list as the value for the preview argument. What you want is: rename , newname, , "<Test Folder>\2.txt"; Don't fret - it can be a bit confusing when omitting arguments! :D Oh i get it. I was under the impression that in o...

Possible Bug In Rename Script Command

I searched for this one but couldn't find it and maybe has been reported before so pardon me if that ends being the case. :) [Using XYplorer 7.90.0000 - Latest Beta Same Result] rename [mode (b|r|s|k|e)], pattern, [preview (p)], [itemlist] The raname script command is ignoring the "itemlist&quo...

Re: Dual Pane - Formal Proposal Thread

I don't write a lot here but i use xyplorer daily. I support and recommend this software to many of my friends and co-workers, but even I agree that XYplorer lacking Dual-Pane capabilities is a total joke. I bought a lifetime license time ago and i'm very glad i did it for the great service this app...

Okay, thinking done. Should work as expected in next version.
Indeed it works right when used under the "Rename" UDC Category. It seems the problem it's only when used inside a script.

For now i have to use it only that way.
