Restore Folder View (#478) should reposition at top
When doing a Folder View Restore (#478) on a folder, and especially a folder that contains more than a screen full of data, it would be ever so nice if the folder could be restored scrolled back completely to the top. Rationale, at least for me: When I have to restore to a backup (having saved that ...

Re: Folder view: Hide directories and show modified files only
So what about this tip: Maybe you should have said that you are in branch view ^^ Then either disable it on the fly via the branch view icon in the toolbar or via options: Configuration | Find and Filter | Find Files & Branch View | Branch View | [ ] Let folders pass all filters My I kindly sug...

Re: Folder view: Hide directories and show modified files only
Look at the image in the original post. I'm in "Branch View" and I only want to see files with the Archive attribute, given that there is already a column "Path". This branch contains only a few changed files and directories, if I go up one level, there may be a few more changed ...

Re: Folder view: Hide directories and show modified files only
Doesn't do anything, I still see the directories in Folder View, even with the above item ticked.

Folder view: Hide directories and show modified files only
I assumed that
would do it, but it doesn't, and even
still shows plenty of directories.
How do I hide them, I only want to see the (usually) very few changed files, and not also the several dozens of directories...
And yes, no directories have the 'a' bit set!
Code: Select all
attr:a and !attr:d

Puzzled by v21.40.0101
v21.40.0101 - 2021-01-01 18:12 + Custom Copy: Now the progress dialog shows the amount of used space (and implicitly free space) on the target drive, graphically and in numbers. What's the point? Either there is enough space, or there isn't, and if it's showed in the progress dialog, this would imp...

Re: Rename: Add "Replace extension" option
And you really did enter the new extension without a leading dot? No, obviously I didn't... Anyway, this is the same type of abuse I commit in the input file of my hitchhike statistics programs, where a "." in the departure time is just a separator of hours and seconds, but where a "...

Re: Rename: Add "Replace extension" option
No, that sets the extension, without removing the old one, I want to replace the extension with a new one.

Rename: Add "Replace extension" option
Right now it takes two steps, first to remove the current one, then to add a new one. (Unless I'm missing something?)
An optional tick-box to allow just replace the current extension with the new one would be very desirable.

Re: New cloned tab no longer working(?)
And how does one restore the old functionality? The tweaks don't really seem to offer any clues.

New cloned tab no longer working(?)
Is it me, or what?
I'm pretty sure that just double clicking on the tab-bar next to the right-most tab would open a clone of it. Right now it doesn't work (anymore?), so either I'm mistaken, or I've changed some setting, or what?

Later, right now way to busy slurping up content from yet another magazine, Humboldt Journal of Social Relations, via https:/jstor.org/, that has opened up its archives until the end of the year.
