Re: Ghosted Network drives

Don,

I see the same drive unavailable icons in Mini-tree mode - though they are external drives.

Re: Minor scripting related wishes (a generic thread)

Hi nerdweed, I see how to get this work the highend's way might appear "somewhat cumbersome". However, I'd like to counter your conclusion by asking in return: Pulling a report of all files (in excess of 50000 files), for a random file name isn't justified. Is it justified to extend the SC API for ...

Re: Minor scripting related wishes (a generic thread)

You want a new script command for something that you can achieve with two lines of scripting? oO $files = folderreport("files", "r", "D:\Temp", "r", , "|"); $rndFile = gettoken($files, rand(1, gettoken($files, "count", "|")), "|"); Though, I know it can be achieved with folderreport, sometimes an e...

Re: Minor scripting related wishes (a generic thread)

Request for a scripting function to return a random file

$file=randomfile(<directory>,<include subfolders>,<optional criteria>)

Can this be granted, please

Re: Breadcrumb of inactive tab works on active tab

I am not asking you to break it. I also mentioned the same thing. :)

Just asking you that Breadcrumb if inactive tab should change the location of inactive tab rather than the active tab. Not something I want to die for. I am happy with the current implementation as well.

Re: Msecs "reloaded"

Can these bits be used to store the tags and labels in the File system. Obviously only XY can read it. Question: if msecs isn't timestamped, will the previous msecs be present. I doubt, but since Don said there are 27 bits to utilize, it may be possible

Re: Breadcrumb of inactive tab works on active tab

Yes, it becomes fuzzy when inactive tab of inactive pane is clicked. I would prefer it changing the location of the inactive tab. It would help drag and drop copy. Also, breadcrumb of inactive tab in inactive pane changing location of active tab in active pane would mean that clicking on inactive pa...

Re: Breadcrumb of inactive tab works on active tab

So should this be moved to Wishes then

I don't know what would be better. Navigation happening in the inactive tab would help file operations, while the current implementation can aid navigation.

Breadcrumb of inactive tab works on active tab

Don't know if this is a bug or intended, but if I right click on the icon of an inactive tab - that populates the breadcrumb for the inactive tab. However; the navigation happens in the active tab.

Re: Simple Weather Label

My reasons are simple: One, I am too lazy to learn RegExp and two, I tried to pick unique tokens so searching is instant unlike searching for common tokens such as " or others which are so ubiquitous. Either ways with my way or regexp, script will break if xml format changes (or google pulls out it...

Re: Portable file icons

As XY now shows large icons in Thumbnails mode, uploading in the 256x256 PNG compressed icons would be nice. I do create multi-size icons (from png) and have the following sizes 16x16 32x32 48x48 64x64 (mostly) 128x128 256x256 (PNG compressed icon) -> a 256x256 non-png compressed icon takes a lot of...
