Re: GIF preview is buggy
Another minor issue observed with gif preview - in no ways a show stopper. In a folder with jpegs and gif or only gifs, if gif is being previewed in info pane and floating preview is invoked, the preview is OK in both places. But if you navigate (from the floating preview) to another image and back ...

Re: Shortcuts Preview
Super Don. I was just writing (albeit with smaller time devotion) how quick you are fixing it and how I plan to use this. And its fixed.admin wrote:... and fixed. Good bug! Actually 2 bugs: image size was not displayed or LNK files. Thanks!
Edit - The fix works.

Re: Shortcuts Preview
Normally, when a developer says a bug, it is annoying. Its a long wait for a fix. Not here. The shortcut preview is a great feature. It deserves a mention in the feature list. I stumbled upon it only while going through beta thread. I normally don't create windows shortcuts, but this creates a use f...

Re: Shortcuts Preview
Now, it does appear that it is taking the thumbnails size for the shortcut preview as guessed by Trasd.
I just tried this on fresh install. Same issue.

Re: Shortcuts Preview
Don,
Please try it with gif images - smaller than 128x128 and larger than 128x128. I should have checked for jpegs yesterday itself. Then this would have been in Bugs section.
I initially thought, it was meant that way

Re: Shortcuts Preview
Tried doing that, it still uses 128x128. I usually view thumbnails in 96x54 or 128x72
Previewing contents of the actual file is I think XY only function (may be supported by few others), so it should be referring to the actual file and hence show the actual dimensions.

Shortcuts Preview
This feature was added long back - XYplorer allows previewing the contents of a the file that a shortcut is pointing to. It does preview it. However; if I create a shortcut for an image file, the preview is not as large as the actual file. Any particular reasons for it and can it be made as large th...

Thanks Don. Nice way for enabling it as welladmin wrote:Convinced, added it.nerdweed wrote:Yes, home and end do work but my idea of viewing images is to relax back far from screen with just a mouse and scroll cross them.

Re: Animated .GIF images...
Haven't felt slowness. Might be because I shutdown on daily basis.
Yes, home and end do work but my idea of viewing images is to relax back far from screen with just a mouse and scroll cross them. Though not that needed, I can always use the Right Click context menu for it.

Re: Icons for Favorite Folders / Files
Ok. Now if the icons for Favorites Folders & Favorite files are cached, trust no harm in displaying them then. Just a thought. @klownboy, I am having a full favorites menu like the one in menu bar whilst your appears a minimal favorite folders only and hence the icons might be visible. As in my ...

Re: MDBU: "Actual" size and "Shrink to fit"
My idea was to offer two alternatives: [ ] MDBU on right-mouse: - popup stays up until clicked - fit image to screen In other words: Just add "fit image to screen" (which I think meets a very natural desire: see the whole image as large as possible) to the already existing "popup sta...

Re: Animated .GIF images...
Thanks for the GIF support. Support in MDBU is uber cool. Regarding support in Floating Preview. Memory consumption - don't know - but shouldn't be an issue with most of the users Maintenance - Wouldn't that be one time only A bit off topic, in the floating preview, can the next jump from last image...

Re: Icons for Favorite Folders / Files
I think I am referring to the same menu as none of the menu's have icons apart from tick marks.
The favorites menu also appears on a right click in white space in the tree. Would it be possible there.
